So far its everything I hoped for. Its easy to use and seems to save a lot of water over my old one. I also like that there is an alarm when the washer and the dryer are finished. I also like the fact that the controls for the washer and the dryer are in the middle of the two appliances so that I dont have to reach up to the top of the dryer to turn it on.

I bought these at the beginning of the year and I am happy I did. Both washer and dryer are big enough for bedding and big loads. Furthermore the tower is small enough to fit in a small laundry closet. I moved to a condo so I do not have a lot of space. So far I used them frequently and Ive had no problems or complaints.

I had to get a replacement because inside the dispenser tray the mental was rushing away. It took lg months to replace it. Now where the rubber meets the metal on the dryer the paint is chipping off. This is a major appliance the paint on the dryer should not be chipping period. This is not good and I am getting the run around again. I dont understand why is the paint chipping?

After ordering directly from LG we received a defective unit - the dryer did not heat at all. We were given the option of a repair or an exchange we opted for the exchange. After waiting yet another week for delivery we received a unit that works very well but is dented in the lower left corner of the washer. The dent is such that the access door for the washer drain appears to be open. We also had originally requested installation and haul off on the original order. The second delivery was drop only. We had to have someone come and complete the installation as we are not electricians and were not sure how to attach the dryers electrical cord. Also being 88 years old we were not certain we would be able to push the washer/dryer unit in place in the laundry room. While we are ultimately pleased with the new unit we are a bit disappointed with the whole acquisition experience. Especially disappointing was the ordeal we had to go through just to speak with a human being on the phone. We do not know if we wish to go through exchanging the dented unit for another but am not thrilled that we spent all this money and will see this dent daily for years to come.

H O R R I B L E experience. Its pretty evident that LG does not care about their customers. I ordered the wash tower over a month ago and LG will not resolve the issue. According to them the delivery company has it. According to the delivery company it was never delivered. I have had 4 phone calls with LGs dead inside customer service to be told the same thing every time call back in 48-72 business HOURS. Ive emailed them three times with no response. Dont buy from them they dont care about your business.

Hot water valve doesnt work

The hot water valve on our washer has never worked. Ive gone back and forth with getting it fixed but we live remotely so its incredibly difficult to get someone out here to fix it so they sent the part which is also going to be incredibly difficult bc now I have to find and pay someone to help me move it and follow how to install it. I just hope it works after we finally get this done. We also live 6 hours away from where we bought it so we would need to find a trailer to try and return it and its risky bc what if the replacement doesnt work. Customer service has been helpful but its just really difficult on our end. I can update my review after we get the new part installed.

I have never had an issue with water pressure with old washer and dryer. The pressure coming into the house is 75lbs. The water co. we use checked it. A plumber also checked it. They each say it is related to how the washer is built. The sound is extremely loud and we will have to add a pressure reducer to correct. Why should we have to pay for an issue that is obviously a flaw in the way the machine is made? And do we want a water pressure reducer?? How will that effect other appliances?

I love where the controls are. Washer: The installed wash settings arent quite what I want and you cant control/customize what thet do very well. The temp/spin etc are limited and dont let you select from full range of options. I found this limitation all the website confirming it isnt just mine. Dryer: It cant handle small loads. They never dry fully with the sensor even with most dry set. This is a new vent its not clogged. I always end up having to use the timed dry after. If I do a load of sheets and towels I always end up with the sheets tangled around a balled up damp towel. No idea why because the never happened with my previous dryer which was a similar style just not stacked. I dont know the cost or easy to reach controls were worth the hassle or actually using it.

Have not installed this machine. The published dryer data indicated that it can be converted to side vent outlet. Although the dryer housing is set up for that conversion LG does not offer the needed vent kit to make that conversion. Installation manuals give no instructions showing how to access the vent blower to fabricate a custom vent assembly. Doing my laundry elsewheee.

I havent had a chance to enjoy my w/d because it still is not correctly installed. The person who originally did it was incompetent and installed it in a way that did not give water code IE. Since then I have been given different dates and times but no one has called and no one has come. Now it is supposed to be installed tomorrow. Well see. I should have gone to a local shop. When if it is installed correctly I will tell you how I like it. Now I feel like junking it asking for a refund and starting from scratch with someone more reliable.

I have used my LG Laundry center 3 times now. Our clothing is very lightly soiled so I can wash at the 15-minute level. It uses 2 thirds less detergent. Les than half the water of my top load. The highest spin cycle is 1300 rpm. I dont have to use that one. The dryer does a wonderful job too. I used to use 15 kw of power with my old dryer. This also has been cut in half. Truley is energy efficient.

I purchased this product because I love a front load machine and I have very limited space so this ThinQ was perfect. I am very disappointed that within 13 months we had the. Imputed go out. I had a white Westinghouse front loader for over 20 years.
