Just when I thought an air conditioner could not get any quieter, this one topped them all. I've had a handful of Frigidaire AC units now. They don't make my electric bill go up, they are quiet, and light weight. I usually get 10,000 btu but this time I was able to get a 12,000 btu for the same low weight. I am a 60 year old woman, 5'4".So size matters since I install it myself. :)

Slider Window installed OK

Although his air conditioner is for a up and down opening window we bought it because we not want to deal with the extra weight and expense of a slider window air conditioner. Installing it in our sliding window was easy. We used plexiglass to fill in the upper portion of the window.

Excellent AC

This AC is 3x smaller than my older model and emits the same amount of BTUs. It cools the space quite well with its SWING mode. I am loving that not only is there a remote, but you can use the app as your remote as well. I am absolutely thrilled with the scheduling feature in the app. This allows me to set my AC for certain times of the day when I am working. Installation was very easy. This window unit is super quiet. I can't even tell if it is on at times. We have 2 window units in our living room with the other one being a 2 year older model, almost the same size but with less BTUs and it is crazy louder. We plan to eventually replace each of our window units with these models. So far a huge fan.

Non Functional on unit controls

The air conditioner is nice, installed easily, and it is very quite. However, the issue is, with the on unit controls. They supposed to be touch sensitive, but they don't work. Fortunately, it comes with the remote control, so it can be operated that way. What happens though if the remote control goes bad? Does Frigidaire replaces those? And what about the WiFi button on the unit? I could not make it to activate, to use it with the phone app. Total failure on this aspect by Frigidaire.

I just bought this a/c keeps my bedroom very cool and its so quiet. and the inerter that swings up and down is a very nice feature. You also can put the swing inverter on manual so it stays at one position. GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Very quiet

We previously owned a window air conditioner from another brand, but it had been giving us a headache due to how loud it was when running. We wanted to replace it with a different brand and came across this Frigidaire Inverter window air conditioner that is so much quieter that you can barely notice it, but it cools the house down so much better than our old air condition. It was a little bit more pricey than the old one, but it was fully worth it! love it!

Just received it today, it's rated for 550 Sq ft, I have it in an area half that and it's just comfortable. It is fairly quiet for a 1 ton unit but none of the controls respond on the unit I have to use the remote for all the functions except wifi, that's on the control panel and it doesn't work. Very disappointing

I have a 350 sqf area and it doesn't cool it below 72F. when it gets really hot it can be 77 to 76.not good for a 12K BTU
