This is a replacement unit for a Frigidaire unit that only lasted 4 years. I hope this unit is more durable.

California is in the middle of a heat wave and fortunately I have this AC. It simply a set and forget system. It's quite and cools my Apt. My only issue is that the AC wall sleeve is high up the top of the wall in my Apt. The vents won't point down so I had to Jerry Rig a flap that doesn't work well. I would have loved if I could point the vents downward.

Purchased and installed this unit last month. All research info was accurate which made for a trouble free replacement. Installation instructions very user friendly. Unit work well and performs as advertised.

Our room is approximately 600 Sq. Ft and the AC has to run all day long until night before the room is cool. Unbelievable. I am hoping that the Unit is just defective, it seems like sometimes that happens. I will update my review after I work with Frigidaire on scheduling a service call and/or replacement. Sucks because we have a 1 year old baby and it has been really hot and uncomfortable in our home. So far bad investment.

My room is 12 ft by 21 ft 250 sq ft! This unit hardly cools the room unless it runs all day, even on Eco save. In the winter it just about heats the room unless it runs all the time! My electric bills have soared ever since I had this installed! It's so noisy i have turn up the volume on my T.V. which is only 8 ft from myself. This truly is the worst! Never Again! I'm looking into a mini split system, but I can't afford one right now! Will have to suffer till then. Should've gone with Mini first! Most regrettable!

I have 54 loft apartment homes in which we are equipping them with this amazing HVAC. We are located in a very hot weather state, and these units put out enough cool to keep the upstairs lofts cool. They are also keeping the energy bills down with their efficiency.

I bought this AC/Heater combo last year. The AC is very loud We cannot hear each other or TV when it's on, so we don't use it. The heater is of no use at all.

I've had this for about 6 weeks now. It's installed in the living room wall, but it keeps my entire downstairs very comfortable, even on days when the temp is in the mid 90s. It's fairly quiet, very easy to use, and I never have to set the fan speed higher than low.One note: make sure it's properly installed and well ventilated, especially at the back. Mine wasn't cooling properly at first. It would let the room get up to over 80 degrees, and the compressor still wouldn't engage, even though I had the temp set at 60. I pushed the unit the rest of the way to the back of the wall sleeve (not the one made for the unit; it was already in the wall) so the back of the A/C was against the back of the sleeve. This allowed the unit to push air directly outside rather than into the empty space between the back of the unit and the back of the wall sleeve. Then it started working very well.

I bought my air conditioner in May of this year to heat and cool a 600 square foot room over my garage. In the past month or two we have seen most days in the high 90's and this product has been great. It keeps the room comfortable and is energy efficient. The features included make the unit easy to use and you'r not constantly adjusting the temperature. It was a great buy for me.

I got this unit as a replacement for an earlier model and it has been a powerhouse this VERY HOT NYC summer. I use it to cool my 450 square foot studio and I wake up happily cold every morning. It's also great for the pets who are important to keep cool in the heat. I haven't tried the warming function yet, but so far this unit was worth the wait and was installed with precision to ensure continued functionality. Many thanks Frigidaire!

I bought this primarily for a room that has been difficult to cool when the temp reaches high 90s and above. I bought it in October so I havent had an opportunity to test it however I feel like it will do a great job. I've turned the heater on a few times for a few minutes as back up heat and it runs so nice and quiet with no vibration in the walls and windows.

I bought this a supplemental heat source for my 18x25 sun room and it does a great job of keeping the room warm. Temps have been near zero and it was able to still do the job. The electric bill took a hit but it is worth it to be able to use the sun room all winter

We bought and installed this AC in early June. Temperatures during the summer here in South Carolina range from upper 90s to low 100s days and upper 80s at night. This AC cools our 500 sq. ft. upstairs bedroom and bath with no problem. We were very happy with the price and on time shipping. We're looking forward to cooler temperatures so we can try the heat. Very impressed with the quality of this Frigidaire product. Everything works as advertised.

This thing is a beast 14000 btu's so the fact it has an energy saver mode and is energy star rated is a huge plus.The timer and thermostat make it even better, set it and forget it you come home to a cool dry house but your electric bill has not tripled.I have a 12 year old Frigidaire in my bedroom and it still works good as new not quite energy efficient its a bare bones model I put a plug in timer on it that helps alot. customer service is great as well even though I bought an open box unit it still has full warranty and they sent me the remote that was missing

This unit has trouble keeping my office cool. Though it's the correct size for the room where I'm using it, around noon the temperature slowly begins to rise so around 5:00 pm, it's nearly 80º, even with the AC is set to 68º.
