I purchased this as an emergency ac unit to put in one of my windows in the event of a summer power outage. It cools well and does not pull many watts, so my generator will easily handle the little extra load.

This unit is sufficient for cooling our 500 sq ft little house. My only regret is that this unit does not have a digital temperature control. The control has multiple settings which are adequate, however, I wish I could set a temperature and the unit would automatically cycle to maintain the setting. It is an easy unit to install.

I got a bad one I think. I love Frigidaire. Belt is so loud i thought it would explode. And when it rained it would blow water into my house. Yes it™™s installed correctly at the proper angle. It™™s just a bad one. Plz note that I have all Frigidare appliances. This just slipped through quality control. Am returning for my money back

It is said that this unit will cool a 450 Sq. Ft. room. I'm here to say my office is 550 and this unit cools it down on low. When I crank it up to high I have to turn it down soon after. It doesn't have a remote and it doesn't hook up to the internet but it will cool you down.

I bought this unit to cool a storage shed/workshop. It is a very challenging cooling environment since the shed is not insulated. I can set the unit on low or medium cool with a temperature setting of around 4 and the shed stays comfortable (in Houston in the summer!).I am very pleased with the performance of this unit.
